Who we are for garment catalog?
While shopping if you look closely around us, we all have been modernised while shopping. What do you think? why we avoid going to traditional stores and prefer to shop online? We try to avoid the cluttered markets or shops or we’re slowly shifting to e-commerce because the garment catalogue in the market just to save our time, energy and to avoid travel hustle. If you think these are the reasons then you’re wrong. Before answering the question, why? Answer one more question. Why do you buy things online? Low prices? To save time? Or is it to save our energy? None of that. Even if I agree with these points, we all know e-commerce has a lot of bifurcations. Also, it does take a lot of energy and time, and the merchandise online is often more costly than offline stores.

So then, what is it really? It’s choice. It’s the feeling of not being rushed, judged, or pressured by a shopkeeper hovering over your shoulder. Online, you can scroll through garment catalogue before picking one, and no one’s watching you do it.
Try doing that in a crowded market with three other customers waiting behind you and a shopkeeper already unfolding the tenth shirt for you is really embarrassing and it creates a pressure to hurry up and buy asap. That pressure alone pushes more people online than any discount ever could.
comparision between offline garment catalogue and ecommerce
Then there’s comparison. In a traditional market, you have to compare by walking from one shop to another shop, haggling garment catalogue each time, and hoping you’re not being overcharged. Online, comparison takes ten seconds. Reviews, ratings, price history. all of that is one click away, reviews are already written by the people who’ve already bought the product and return policies of 7 days. And thats the main issue we face tradition market: returns, We do trust the traditional market’s pricing,or its quality claims. But when it comes to asks for return or to replace a product its really feels awkward.
But does that mean the traditional garment catalogue market is dying? Not exactly. It’s adapting or trying to do so. You’ll notice local vendors now have WhatsApp catalogues, groups to update their customers even though many of them also own a website. Your neighbourhood store is on Blinkit, Zomato or Amazon. Even the tailor down the street has an Instagram page showcasing his work. The traditional market isn’t disappearing; it’s quietly borrowing the very tools that pulled customers away from it in the first place.
So maybe the real question is “how the traditional market is getting modernised, how we can adapt that? and what’s next?” the cluttered garment catalogue market of shouting vendors and haggling customers is slowly being replaced by something else entirely now we have a market that still exists physically, behaves digitally.
And that is a real modernisation. Its not the shift from offline to online, the next big change in the market is the blend of two.
